Hey followers!

Obviously I haven’t posted to Micks & Moshpits in a long while.  With the recent events of Megaupload, and now other filesharing sites being lost or restricting services, I will be closing M&M.  Mediafire still seems to be operating normally, but 2012 will be a year of uncertainty with file-sharing services. 

Unfortunately I was losing interest in M&M anyways.  The Tumblr version, even when I was posting frequently, never regained even close to the popularity my old Blogspot version had.  This was disappointing, even though I absolutely appreciate those of you who followed this blog and the many others who accessed the links I provided (and I know the numbers… not too shabby!).  

I encourage all of you to use your Internet research skills to find albums elsewhere.  And PLEASE, if you like, BUY IT.  Don’t be a douche and not buy anything.  Support artists, studios, labels, etc that you enjoy.  Especially musicians.

P.S.  A word on torrents since I’m here.   IF you torrent….SEED.  Almost all my friends who torrent tell me they don’t share at all after finishing the download.  It’s so frustrating to try and grab something not even that old and no one is seeding it.  If you’re “stealing”, pay back in kind.   Even with these blogs, a simply “Thank you” after you download or they post your shit goes a long way.  It’s the least you can do if you don’t run a blog or share the link yourself in some way.  We do appreciate it.
